Oak Park Eyes Smart Grid Technology

The government selected Oak Park as one of two U.S. cities to work with international institutions to test new smart grid technologies. This June, the village signed a letter of intent with the Korea Smart Grid Institute to begin testing technologies such as single resident solar homes, battery storage systems connected to the grid, and other sustainable technologies.
