Fermilab Experiments Gets Fast-tracked by Department of Energy

Fermilab’s Mu2e experiment, which will determine whether muons can convert into electrons in the absence of neutrions, was recently approved by the Department of Energy…in just a month after initial review. That’s pretty much the fastest “sign-off” of any high-level energy experiment. This shows how Fermilab is still generating incredible interest in its experiments, even without the Tevatron.
