Argonne National Lab Helps Accelerate Southwest Solar Research

Lemont-based Argonne National Lab has been working with the US Departments of the Interior and Energy to develop solar energy programs in the southwestern states of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. Gillespie Solar Energy Zone - To evaluate the visual impacts of solar development, Argonne researchers provided schematic visualizations of how hypothetical solar facilities would appear to surrounding regions.
